If you have an emergency please call for initial triage as we are only seeing emergency cases. Regretfully Walk ins can not be accommodated at this moment in time. No treatments will be carried out but we will be providing consultation, advice and guidance to support our patients.

Having spent time with Dr Simon Ourian, Doctor to the Kardashians and many Hollywood actors, in his clinic in Beverly Hills, Dr Yazdani, our clinical director, together with our head of Pharmacy Ms Tabatabaei decided to opt for the Candela Gentlemax Pro as the laser hair removal machine of choice for the aesthetic suite in Dental on the Banks. This came on the back of a personal recommendation by Dr Ourian.
We are proud to say that we are the ONLY non-hospital-based clinic in Dorset to have this machine at the disposal of our patients.
The Candela Gentle Max Pro is an innovative new piece of technology that successfully combines two lasers, Alexandrite laser for light skin type and Nd: YAG laser for the dark skin type, which has numerous benefits.
WHAT IT TREATS
The Candela Gentle Max Pro is not only a device capable of removing unwanted body hair, but it can also treat skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, lesions, wrinkles, leg and face veins, and more. This makes it a versatile machine which can help many people, both men and women, treat their skin ailments and concerns.
WHO IT TREATS
The real benefit of the revolutionary technology brought to us from the Candela Gentle Max Pro is that it can treat virtually everyone, even those with darker skin or light hair (where traditional lasers may have struggled).
People with Asian skin, red hair, grey hair or otherwise can successfully be treated with the Gentle Max Pro.
HOW IT WORKS
When treating hair removal, the technology works by destroying the hair follicles with the light from Gentle MAX, which then stops them from growing for good.
The treatment is not painful as the device contains a cryogenic super-cooling spray. This reduces the risk of getting hyperpigmentation, which you might experience from other machines.
This treatment really does deliver results, treating even fine hairs. Many clients would agree that the device, using dual laser technology, gets rid of all types of hair on any type of skin tone.
With the use of dual laser technology, Gentle MAX is able to get to the fine hairs that would normally be missed by traditional hair removal equipment. This means you can effectively remove hair on your face, back, chest, underarms and bikini line.
THE RESULTS
A full course of 6-9 treatments will result in a long-term reduction of hair growth; however, this is dependent upon individual skin tone and hair. An annual top-up session is recommended for maintenance.

I chose dental on the banks Solely because of the reputation and reviews they came highly recommended by a very good client on mine who also lives in Sandbanks. I have chosen to have full implants. My teeth are crooked and I hated my smile. Dr George was great with his team. I would highly recommend this Dentist they contact me very frequently to make sure the healing process is going well and I feel like I have the support I need which I wouldn’t have had if I would’ve gone to Turkey so I would highly recommend them to one of the banks for your implants.
I had a gum graft procedure with Dr George, and as scary as that sounds, it was such a smooth process. Everything was well explained, I felt completely at ease, and honestly didn’t feel a thing due to the local anaesthetic. Looking forward to the next steps in my treatment with Invisalign
Cannot recommend Dental On the Banks highly enough! Everyone there is always so welcoming, professional and kind. Without doubt the best dental care I’ve ever received and we gladly travel further to get them since moving house. The extra distance is nothing when the care is so great. I had an awful experience with another dentist in Winton who missed the fact I needed a filling meaning I was left in pain for months and they became annoyed that I had to bring my son with me. Dental on the Banks sorted everything for me and is always so accommodating of my young children. I wouldn’t go anywhere else ever again.
Always a great service at DOTB. I have had wisdom tooth removal, whitening and hygienist services here. You feel really looked after and they take their time with you to make sure you are comfortable the whole time (the most gentle hygienist ever!). My first appointment. Staff is friendly. Liberty, the treatment coordinator is very patient, listening to my long history and concerns, explaining the treatment plan clearly. She answered all my queries and put me at ease. And promptly emailed me the treatment plan, etc by the time I got home.

So today I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed under the care of Dr George & his lovely nurse…let’s just say I wouldn’t hesitate if I needed to have another one done. So gentle, did what they needed to do in a calm, controlled atmosphere, pain relief offered before the procedure with steroids to help reduce pain & inflammation, antibiotics provided if needed. A really good experience with something I was dreading. Highly recommend for all your dental needs! 🤩

An absolutely beautiful place. It's more like visiting a spa than a dentist but more importantly than the beautiful aesthetics was the service I received from the staff there. The lady who talked me through the whole process of Invisalign was an absolute delight, a consummate professional and very informative and patient with all my endless questions. Although the location is a bit out of the way for someone who relies on public transport I have no doubt in my mind that if I do decide to go ahead I will go nowhere else. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Although treatment for implants took over a year due to some complex problems, the results are good. Both the implants and the crowns are comfortable and match the rest of my teeth. Good painstaking work.I recommend this practice.
